- Malt Profile: Crafted with 100% Orkney peat-smoked barley. This makes it significantly peatier and more intensely smoky than Highland Park's standard core lineup.
- Maturation: Matured predominantly in first-fill European and American sherry-seasoned oak casks, balanced out with selected refill casks to preserve texture while smoothing the high-proof heat.Â
- Orkney Peat Profile: Unlike the maritime, medicinal, or iodine-heavy peat found in Islay whiskies, the peat from Orkney's Hobbister Moor is rich in local heather roots. This infuses the smoke with a sweeter, more aromatic, and perfumed character.
