Medium to deep garnet-purple. Intense blackberry preserves, wild blueberry, plums, complemented by sous-bois touchesânew leather, menthol, pencil shavings, and pressed florals. Initially tight, it blossoms with aeration. Medium-bodied with velvety tannins. Rich black- and blue-fruit flavors are framed by white pepper, clove, menthol and mineral tones. The crisp finish offers spice and refined, grainy structure.Â
